Not far from Tbilisi, just an hour drive, you will find a really fairyland-Sabadurebi forest. This place is mesmerizing at any time of the year, though wintertime has its own special beauty.

For those travelers, staying for couple of days in Tbilisi and looking for a destination which offers an incredible winter wonderland this is the place to be. You will be transformed into a truly magical destination with mesmerizing natural wonders you have to see to believe. Though snowy day is a must to feel like in Frozen, as snow may melt on the trees soon…

If you want to enjoy not only snow but touch the history of the country, one more hour drive through snowy trees and you will find yourself close to St Archil Monastery complex in village Nadokra, where St. King Archil’s tomb is. The monastery consists of two churches, a tower, a wine cellar and residential buildings. The earliest building dates back to VIII century. The tower belongs to XVII-XVIII centuries.
