On June 21-22, 2019 the Third International Qvevry Wine Competition will be held in Georgia. The aim of the competitions is to introduce the best qvevri wines to the world, to promote wine production and consumption of qvevri wine.
Qvevri wine producers from all over the world can participate in this competition. Samples will be assessed by national and international judges.
The first International Qvevri Wine Competition was held in 2017 and since then the interest of the companies in qvevri wine has been significantly increased.
Third International Qvevry Wine Competition is organised by Georgian wine Association with the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture of Georgia and National Wine Agency
