In the frames of the project various traditional and modern Vietnamese silk and weaving objects were introduced. Mrs Trang donated a 100 year-old silk spinning wheel and a silk dress to the State Silk Museum.

In the end of the event Mrs. Trang was appointed as a manager of the Silk Museum Friends Association, in the field of International Friends Direction.  In her word she expressed her appreciation to the Silk Museum and Demi Catering Service for a big support and she thanked the Ambassador of France in Georgia Mr. Monsieur Pascal Meunier to attend her opening event. She said: ‘Vietnamese Silk and textiles’ history had very strong connection with France since France built the biggest factory of Indochina in Nam Dinh, Vietnam where the spinning machine, I had donated to Silk Museum Tbilisi, came from!’

Director of the Museum hopes that  the event will increase the interest and the museum   will have more visitors.
